Finn was born to be a leader.
He challenges morals to stay on top of the game, and most times, he's okay with that.
He's very sensitive, which is rare in a football player stereotypically.
He strives to make his mother proud and happy.
However, sometimes he doesn't care what people think, hence why he's in Glee club.
Popularity is something he is most vulnerable to.
Finn, in general, walks a very fine line between following his dreams and doing what other people expect of him.

¶ Important Personal Experiences:
- Finn's father died while stationed in the Army in the Middle East, during Operation Desert Storm.
- Once he found out he could sing at a young age, he finally felt special.
- Finn made star quarterback on his school's football team.
- Despite his morals, he used to pick on less popular kids like Kurt and Rachel.
- Will Schuester bribed him into joining Glee club, after hearing him singing in the locker room shower by planting pot in his locker. Afraid of what his mother would have thought, Finn agreed.
- Glee club makes him happy, even while getting alienated by his teammates.
- He dated the head cheerleader, Quinn, to up his rep and regretted it soon afterwards due to being cheated on by Quinn, which resulted in her getting pregnant. She covered it by saying that Finn was the father when in all reality, she had had sex with Noah Puckerman. After Rachel had told him this theory of hers, he reacted by demanding Quinn to tell him the truth after beating Puck up. He then quit Glee, but Will followed him and asked him to come back.
- After returning to Glee club, Finn went to sectionals and took control. Under his leadership, they won and he never forgave Quinn or Puck for how they betrayed him.
- Rachel and Finn had on and off experiences within those times and after them, going in and out of a relationship and having angst between them when really they dearly cared about each other, which is obviously the fuel behind the angst. Angry at her for dating Jesse St. James after what they'd been through, he surrendered his virginity to Santana Lopez.
- Finn and Rachel finally stuck together at Regionals together after Rachel proceeded to kiss him on the lips, and he returned it with an "I love you."
- When Rachel finds out about Santana and Finn the next year, she takes it badly and decides to cheat on Finn, in return to his actions, with Puck. Finn is furious about this, because Rachel did it when they were together, and Finn did it when they weren't. He broke up with her and Rachel has been trying to talk about it ever since, yet Finn won't give her the time of day.
