[Kurt Hummel]

Something seemed to fit together in Kurt's mind right then. It spelled a clear, clear message, and that message was simple. Here's your chance. Despite how nervous he was, Kurt smiled, looking at the other boy again. "Let me help you with that." He leaned forward ever-so-cautiously and gave Blaine a kiss, right on the lips, light, nervous, short, but there nonetheless. At that moment, he had the feeling that he couldn't ever be happier.

[Blaine~]

Blaine was just as surprised as Kurt was when he kissed him on the cheek. Blinking, he smiled weakly before leaning in close again. "That was nice... how was your real, first kiss?" He whispered with a smile, moving to take his chin between his thumb and index finger. "How about another one?" He whispered, totally ignoring the movie that was now playing.

Kurt didn't answer the first question. ".. Yes, another would be nice," he breathed, surprised that he was able to speak at all. He was just.. happy, happy beyond his wildest dreams. Any doubts he had previously had were gone.. Both boys, now, had let their pining for one another be known. This is the best day I've had in a long time.

[Blaine~]

Smiling, Blaine leaned in again, gently kissing his lips before he pulled away. Looking away for a moment, he bit his own lower lip, eyes closed. He had a burden right now... and he needed to get rid of it. Now. "I... um..." Swallowing roughly, the teen staring at the pillow in his lap, thanking himself for putting it there for comfort before the movie had started.

Okay, that had been absolutely amazing.. But Kurt's good mood faded slightly apon Blaine's next actions. He seemed unhappy. Did I do something wrong? Oh, no.. Kurt nervously brushed a couple strands of his hair to the side, back to their place. "Blaine.. Is there something wrong..?" Kurt asked cautiously.

[Blaine~]

"No. Not a thing in the world," he smiled meekly over to Kurt, swallowing before he turned back to him. "I've just got a little problem, but... I'm sure it'll go away." Blaine chuckled weakly. "It's something that happens when you get really excited-- know what I mean?" He asked, a little uncomfortable with the tightness of his pants.

Kurt's eyes widened. Oh.. That. He glanced away awkwardly. He didn't know the first thing about what to do in a situation like this. There was a moment of silence. "Uhm.. Why don't we.. watch the movie..?" The boy turned slightly, though found it hard to pay attention to what was going on on the screen, having missed quite a bit of it.

[Blaine~]

"I... okay," he sighed, looking at the tv. "Sorry about making you uncomfortable." Blaine murmured softly, rubbing his face, then scratching his neck. He was really hot... and uncomfortable. "Um, Kurt...? Mind if I take my shirt off? It's really hot in here..."

[Kurt Hummel]

"Oh, uh.. That's.. That's fine," Kurt said quickly, stumbling over the words. This was really happening, all of it. A minute passed. ".. Oh. I just remembered, I, uh, I've got to finish this.. project I'm doing," and he had remembered, the thought barely striking him that this could be used as a thinly veiled excuse to leave. So he got up, headed for the door. Quietly, over his shoulder, he spoke. "Thanks for.. tonight.. I enjoyed it." The words were a bit unsure, but they were spoken nonetheless.

That could've gone a lot better.

[Blaine~]

"Kurt! I'm sorry for... for making you uncomfortable." Standing up, Blaine looked at him with a small frown, whimpering. "Please don't go... I... I don't want you to go." The teen flustered before closing his eyes, trying to 'cool down' by thinking of anything, anything at all! "I just... you don't realize how much I like you..." His voice was soft, almost inaudible as he admitted this.

[Kurt Hummel]

".. Blaine.. I have to go. As happy as I am, I need to think." Kurt didn't turn around, instead opening the door, walking out. Here he was, screwing up again. He did need to think. About everything. Oh, I'm hopeless.

[Blaine~]

"Kurt, please don't go..." He whispered softly, moving after him. "Stay here and think... we need to finish the movie!" Blaine looked really distressed, his eyes sad and red. "Kurt... please don't go! Can't we just talk...?"

Kurt turned back, staring at Blaine with a look that seemed as if it as trying hard to be a glare. "Do you know how hard it is to think when you're right next to the guy you're completely and totally in love with?!" A moment passed before he realized what he'd just said. Oh, no. No, no, no, no, no. The boy glanced down, blushing profusely.

[Blaine~]

Blaine watched him, surprised, though smiled. Moving closer to him, he tried to pull him into a tight hug. "That's how I feel," he whispered with a smile, though pulled away with a small, sheepish smile. "C-can we talk about this...?"

Kurt accepted the hug, wanted to stay there as long as he possibly could. "What else is there to talk about?" In Kurt's mind, it was all very simple: They both cared about each other beyond belief, longed for one another. Wasn't that all there was to it?
